Red Class 21 - 22

Wow, what a week we have had!  It's been really Christmassy in school this week, lots of us finished off our stocking sewing, we're getting good at sewing, and Georgia made a Christmas tree from buttons.   We were amazing in the Nativity shows, we sang all the songs and remembered when we needed to go on stage at the right time too.  On Wednesday lots of us went to the school disco; that was great fun, we had our Christmas lunch on Friday too, and that was delicious. We had a big surprise on Friday morning, we were all in the hall with Mrs. Butcher when we heard a noise outside.  We listened carefully and it was BELLS !  Miss. Coles went to check the door and outside was FATHER CHRISTMAS!!!!!!   We couldn't believe it.  He had come to say Merry Christmas to us and he left us some gifts in our classrooms.  He came to say hello to us all at our classroom door too.  We were really lucky. Birthday wishes, this week, go to  Alfie ,  who stood up and blew out the candles on our school Birthday cake. This week we were really lucky to be able to welcome some people from Norwich Cathedral.  Unfortunately we were not able to host Catfield and Hickling but hopefully we can organise another federation day soon. We had the best morning, we learnt how to be shepherds and look after our sheep.  We walked through a special scene and then listened to and watched the story of Jesus being the good shepherd. After playtime we took part in finding out about another special story that involves sheep, this was the Nativity story.  We travelled through the story carrying out different activities to help tell it.  We really did have a wonderful time and the ladies said that we were very well behaved and they couldn't believe we have only been...
