Prayers, ducklings and Easter gardens

Image
It's been a week of celebrations.  On Monday we celebrated our mummy's as we shared afternoon tea with them for Mothering Sunday.  We loved having them come into school for the afternoon with us.  Mrs. Moore and Miss. Tovell worked very hard to get it all ready too. On Tuesday we had an exciting delivery ... we had some duckling eggs come into our classroom to look after, we watched them patiently and two hatched before the weekend.  We enjoyed cuddles with the eldest duckling and we watched it waddle in our classroom too.  Mrs. Holmes looked after them and the rest hatched over the weekend. We are getting very good at writing prayers and during Thursday's collective worship we wrote the names of people we thought we needed to pray for. On Friday we made two Easter gardens, we thought carefully about each element that needed to be included and why they were needed.  We got very dirty but enjoyed working on these.

Our superstars this week are: Ayla  and  Byron for resourcefulness and responsibility.  Well done both of you. We had the most AMAZING day at Wroxham Barns this week.  We met and learnt about lots of animals.  We loved feeding them and stroking them too.  The goats were very, very greedy and the pigs were really loud! We enjoyed playing in the soft play area, in the tractor barn and on the tree bridge.  Look at some of the fun we had.
