Outdoor learning and school council
We have had another very busy week in Red Class. We have been learning our harvest songs with Keystage 1, chasing bubbles, voting for our school council representatives, year 2 house captains and year 1 vice captains. We have had our first P.E lesson (which we LOVED), we have been learning new sounds and tricky words, and on Friday we had our first outdoor learning session (another lesson that we LOVED!) It has been a really busy, exciting week, also tiring for our little 4 and 5 year old bodies.
Many children, from our class, bravely stood up and told the whole school why they would like to be our school council representatives. Everybody was proud of how brave they were and of the ideas that they had. After a whole school vote we would like to congratulate our class school council members
Charlotte and Kodie
Well done to you both, they will be taking part in their first meeting next week.
Our superstars this week are:
Byron and Millie
for resilience and reflectiveness. Well done both of you.
Evie had to blow out the candles on the birthday cake this week, she was the only one in the school who has a birthday this week. One of the candles was very tricky, it wouldn't go out!!
We absolutely LOVED our outdoor learning session. We explored the area and went on a rainbow colour scavenger hunt, at the end we found 'sit spots' and thought about what we saw and what we are thankful to God for.
