Footprints and skeletons

Our superstars this week are:

Georgia and Harley

for reflectiveness.  Well done both of you.

Our dinosaurs wanted to make footprints so we helped them do this with the paint, we then wrote words we thought of about dinosaurs, some of these words were "roar", "big", "tall", we sounded out each word and used our phonic knowledge to help us.

We carried on looking at making the number five in different ways.  The dinosaurs helped up, some of them went into the swamp and some on the grass, another set of five chose to use the grass and a nest.  We also enjoyed using the double sided counters and a five frame to help us.

On Friday we enjoyed using the art straws to fill dinosaur cut-outs with "bones".  We carefully cut the straws to the sizes we wanted and then glued them in place.
