Writing, beanstalks and jelly beans

Another busy week in Red class.  We have been playing word games and making words with Miss. Tovell, she was really proud of us and what we can do.  We have been building, using Numicon to make pictures, creating lots of things from our junk modelling box and carried out lots of lovely writing.

We have been listening to the stories "Jack and the beanstalk" and "Jack and the jelly beanstalk".  We used shapes to make our own beanstalks and wrote about what we thought the beans where doing under the ground.  We thought carefully about what we thought the jelly bean flavours would be on the jelly beanstalk, orange class had a think about this too and shared their ideas, they wrote them on to our large jelly bean picture with our ideas.  After we had written what flavour jelly bean we would like, we went outside and found some jelly beans had appeared in the playground, we enjoyed eating those!
